Duo: the future of bathroom living
There is a constant need for space. It is something that everyone has, but generally more is always desired. People are therefore continually looking to maximise and utilise the space that is available to them. Lack of space is a significant problem within densely populated locations. Apartments in suburban areas are particularly affected by this, and can cause a negative impact on living circumstances.
Our ambition as designers was to design for the user and dramatically improve upon their standard of living. We identified that space within urban apartments is an issue, and therefore propose to develop furniture which saves considerable amounts of space within the household. The product design is innovative, compact and comprise of multifunctional capabilities. This ultimately maximises upon space availability, whilst also improving the aesthetics of the living environment.
